Toy Poodles

Does anyone here have toy poodles? Or experience with toy poodles?

If you've met any, what were they like? Did they have a large range of personalities/temperaments?

Can anyone make any comparison between them and the miniature poodle?

I am considering them for a one day future breed. This dog would be an active companion dabbling in obedience, agility and any other training stuff that takes our fancy. I love lively little dogs, I'm also considering a pap. Abby is really lovely, lively and active but I'd also ideally like a dog that is a bit more owner focused.

I have one of each, Tsuki is a toy and Lincoln is a miniature. Toy vs. Mini, I would go for a miniature if you are looking for a small sports dog. Lincoln has definitely more energy, stamina, and drive than Tsuki. Though that isn't to say Tsuki is lacking in drive, she's a small like spitfire. Both are owner focused, and super easy to train.

I only saw a mini one day like for a few seconds so I can't compare them, besides the size.


As for the toys Pompadour likes to run and play, but he doesn't like to play too rough and he gets tired fast.

The toys I have met have a very careful nature, is like they aware they are fragile and they can be overwhelmed if there's too many things going on like hyperactive kids, big dogs, loud music, etc, If this happens they will need some minutes to calm down.
