For whatever reason, and I feel guilty about this, I get emotional when you post his photos. And then read that you refer to yourself as a seeing eye human. I guess it's just the bond between human and dog, and the two of you, touches my heart. And I can't wait to have that again.
Ugh, I'm so silly. He looks great, though!

i thought his blindness would be a handicap for him... boy was i wrong, its a case of the blind leading the not so blind for him, the only thing he has issues with is low density objects like bushes, chairs and human legs, ive seen him, in a complete strangers house, cut to one side before he ran in to a wall and parallel it as if he could see it... i am beginning to believe its some form of echo-location, like, he can hear his footfalls bouncing off of them or something, it is very bizarre and incredible to see first hand.

we are doing well, both of us are pretty happy that spring is here, more fetch for him and less time spent inside the house for me
