A hike and a swim
We went to Suwannee River State Park today, went on a couple hikes. One led to a cemetery and the other led to a "balanced rock" - hence the name "Balanced Rock Trail". Anyways, here are some pictures from today!
Sandhills Trail - the first one we went on.  Pretty red leaves!  We then found the cemetery...  Grave from 1916...  Another grave... there was probably around 15 or so there. Kinda creepy, as they are in the middle of the woods but still neat. Lol  Posing on the boardwalk when after we finished the trail.   Getting ready to head to Balanced Rock Trail. She was very interested in the bike that was coming our way, lol.  A spring bubbling.. you can't see it very well, but it IS there. It would be way more noticeable if the river weren't so low.  Waiting for me to climb up some stairs.

Another red leaf. I thought it was pretty :P
 Finally saw the "balanced rock" haha  Some pretty flowers that are blooming right now! Crazy how it looks (and feels!) so much like spring right now.   We then headed down to the river and had some fun playing in the water!  A cool piece of driftwood that we found while walking along the river bank!  She is a bit on the crazy side. Fear for your life.  Watching some kayakers... she was very intrigued by them.  She then spotted another Lab walking on a boardwalk/trail. She wanted to bad to play with him!  Me and my girl =)

Cute! Really nice pictures! Looks like you guys had fun,
 There are a lot of old cemeteries up here. The one that my grandfather and uncle are buried at has this old sign that says "NO HORSES". Makes me laugh, I wouldn't think there would be enough horse occurrences that it would warrant a sign.
