Itchy Aura - suggestions?

Aura's been getting pretty itchy the past week or two, so I'm just trying to think of what could be causing it, other than maybe a few too many baths in the past few months (due to all of the mud in our yard).

Does coming out of heat ever cause itchy skin? Could it just be dry skin from the winter? I know mine is super dry right now! It's all over, not just in one specific spot on her.

She gets fish oil, and is on raw. Is there anything else I can do/give her?

I wish I had a suggestion. My dogs are all super itchy right now too. I think it's just winter. We've never had fleas or anything ever, but they're so itchy I even checked for those last night and there was nothing. All three of them are getting fish oil, but aside from that I don't know what to do.

I was going to suggest it being seasonal as well. I bathe my dogs a lot, or I did before we got a pool, and they've never had negative reactions.

Maya gets itchy in the fall....a lot of dry skin and a little bit of allergies too. I picked up some tea tree oil spray (I think it's by Vet's Best....I got it at Petco). That really seemed to help. I sprayed her and then gently rubbed it in, maybe every 4 hours or so.

My dogs are on raw and I do not give them anything plant based, especially not oil. Thanks for the suggestion though!

It probably is just dry winter skin. You could increase her fish oil amount. You really cant overdose the stuff. I at one point was giving Riley a Whopper amount for something, and he started smelling like fish.

LOL Yeah I might up it a bit. They are getting a lot of venison right now too which is also high in omega 3, so there's only so much I can do!

Yeah mine have dry winter skin right now too and I'm going through so much lotion its scary lol.
