Should moderators be able to delete their own threads IF...

I find it unfair that I don't have the ability to delete a thread that I make...

BUT when a moderator goes and breeds their dogs... gets questioned... admits they lied about a lot of things... THEN they delete their thread like it never happened and life carries on...

I'm just kind of hurt that a long standing member I liked and agreed about a lot of things lied about where her dogs came from (and made up other dogs in the process).

So... should a moderator be able to delete their own threads if they don't like where they're headed? If someone lies, they should be able to step up to the plate and confess the truth... I think we all deserve that from this member.

I agree... I was kinda shocked to see the thread gone... People werent really attacking like in alot of other threads that never even get closed. they were just trying to find answers.

I don't like deleting threads at all. if you MUST do something just lock it.

this is a BIG point on contention on another board I'm on. anyone can delete a thread they made at any time and this really pisses a lot of people off because people put time and effort into posting on them and then POOF it's like it never exsisted.

I completely agree...

it's just a cowardly thing to do. If you lie and feel you need to delete a thread without giving answers to the people you supposedly care about, it's just... lame.

I was just asking a simple question about MODERATORS.

Aren't people who are well respected on this forum the ones offered positions as moderators?

I just don't understand why this moderator is being allowed to cop out on members.

I guess Foxywench is allowed to lie about things and we are all supposed to be happy with her answers.

She gets a free pass.
