At the park today I met these three really stupid girls. I'm not trying to be mean but they were like legally blonde type sorority girls. They were walking down the offleash dog part of the park and were squealing any time a big dog came near them.

Anyways, I was playing with the girls and they come straight towards us.

Them: "Oh my gosh, those are the CUTEST longhaired chihuahuas!"
Me: "Thank you. Actually they're papillons."
Them: "Huh what?"
Me: "They're not chihuahuas, they're papillons."
Lead girl to another: "Oh! write that down!"
to me: "So like... do they pee?"
Me (wtf?): "Um... of course they pee."
Girl: "I mean like... do they pee all over like... everything?"
Other girls: snickering in hysterics.
Me: "Umm.... no, they don't."
*girl is petting Mia*
Girl: "I like this one. I don't like that other as much."
Other girls: "Yeah this one's SO much cuter."
1st girl: "So like... do they shed?"
Me: "Oh yes, they shed everywhere, all the time. I'm always having to vacuum hair up and they get it all over my clothes. It's awful, I really hate that about them."
Girl: "Oh, ew. I don't want one of those."
Me: *singing praises to God*



Somehow I don't feel bad about purposefully lying, lol.

If you have a somewhat obscure breed, when someone, especially someone... questionable... asks what it is, lie and say it's a mix, you found it or rescued it. The less people that think that your breed is "cute" or "well behaved" or "cool" the better. Popularity hurts breeds. That's what I learned from elpresa.
