Completely by chance I got to chat with a lady with Otterhounds tonight. I was watching live video of her pups, the same sight Red is using for Penny's puppies and she just happened to be on. She was extremely nice and even emailed me some pictures of the pups. It more or less made my night.

For those who don't know having an otterhound is like a fantasy for me. I would love to have one eventually, but I know how hard they are to find. It was nice to be able to talk to a breeder.

actually, yes!

one day while walking abby in the park, i met a lady with two corgis. after getting to know her, she's turned out to be one of the best breeders i've ever met and she's invited me to help socialize her puppies.

we clicked as friends, too, so that's always nifty skippy.

Otterhounds are gorgeous dogs, and I can see why you'd be enchanted. Maybe if you keep in contact with this lady, the right otterhound will just fall right into your lap.
