Default My Adel gave birth to 10 puppies

Yes, she is 3 years old now and I breed her for the first time. As I wrote earlier, my Saluki live outside a year around here, in Virginia climate. No problem with this, only benefits. They are ready to jump out of their pens and run at any moment, when I am ready. Adel gave birth to pups on July 3 and I know who will buy my puppies. Even while nursing the pups, she does not mind to run for five-ten minutes and even flash a rabbit! She eats 2-3 pounds of ground beef per day and the pups grow rapidly.

Prior to giving birth, she cleaned inside the doghouse, leaving just bare plywood floor. Everything is going on naturally. No vets involved and I do not intervene, except handling the pups.

I would be proud only, when I know they do well in homes of their new owners. Now, I enjoy feeding the mother and watching them.

Well, it is good to see a bitch delivering without needing intervention. Always good to have access to a vet in case there's a problem though.

Definitely a plus that you've got homes lined up for them. What are your girl's bloodlines? The sire's?

Can you tell us what your plans for this litter are/why you chose to breed at this time?

Some of my friends asked for a puppy. A few prospective buyers emerged. Of course, 10 is too many. I can reserve one female for you, if you have right environment for a sighthound. It is $700 only.

I think somebody with dekkas knowlegde would have to pass on that offer.

I would take my $700 and go to a REPUTABLE breeder thank you very much.

Have a good day sir! Dont forget to deny your dogs a warm home to sleep in and a vet to keep them healthy! Im sure they are happier Outside in a pen with a cold hard doghouse or chained up with a cold hard doghouse. Deealing with the discomfort of raising a Large litter.

Maybe if yuour former dogs had a vet they could have lived even longer then 11-17 years.

If I am a reputable breeder, or not, let others decide. I money back guaranteed genetic health of puppies I sold and always kept in touch with their new owners, because I wanted to know about their working performance. I also money back guarantee genetic health of my Saluki puppies. You can easily find statistic on dog's longevity in Internet. You will see that they live about 8-10 years average and all of them have lived their lives under intensive veterinary supervision! Even during those 8-10 years of life, many of them had surgeries, helping to extend their lives for a few years.
