I do feel so lucky to have her. In her first year she:
- traveled from Ontario, Canada to North Carolina (coming home) and North Carolina to Indiana (with a stop in Ohio for a seminar)
- started training in dock diving, schutzhund, and agility
- earned legs toward dock diving titles (Junior and Senior)
- got to lure course
- tried her paw at herding
- participated in a doggie paddle event at a local pool
- has hiked in several state parks in NC and Indiana
- waded in the Yadkin River and swam in Lake Griffy in Indiana and Lake Belew in NC
- starred in a short video for my business
- and of course spent lots of time just learning how to be a great dog
In her second year, I hope she/we will:
- continue training in dock diving, schutzhund, agility, and herding
- get at least one leg for her lure coursing title
- finish her Senior regional dock diving title
- participate in at least one national-level dock diving event
- earn her schutzhund BH
- increase the distance of our hikes
- continue enjoying and growing our bond and working partnership!
