He was in a SHOCKING state when he arrived. His nails were so long that his toes were turning out when he stood. I finally relented and shaved his thighs and belly, the hair was so dry and damaged anyway that there was no point in salvaging any of it. Looks like his show career will only start late next year, no way I can show this scrappy little dog.

He is looking so much better already though, better food and leave in conditioners are making a difference.
Anyway, I am using this thread to document his progress, I can't wait to see what he is going to look like in 6 months time!!!

Here are some new pictures of the girls and a short video of Mina showing off some of what she knows. (I'm sorry in advance that the video is so dark.)

I think Mina may need a diet soon, she's losing her nice little tuck up.




On a side note, her coat is getting so nice and shiny since the food switch.

Keechak and I went tracking today and she brought along her camera ^_^ We only got four or five pictures of Strauss actually ON a track, but we got some great fun ones after that.

Sizzle and I took some stacked pics of him last night. I'll apologize for the blurries - our Obed club has some really weird fluorescent lighting. I've got to work a little more on his neck/head positioning.

He's 27" at the shoulder and weights about 70 lbs.

His first show is in January!
