Finding one in WA. NOAH?

We went the the NOAH animal shelter for cats and dogs near Everett, Washington and I decided it was not a good place for me to volunteer at. They did not need any help, they had plenty of money and a very, very fancy facility.

The search continues.

Today was my last day at McDonough county Animal Shelter. It was an amazing experience and I am glad I was of assistance.

A purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgi, a black and white pit bull, a young Black Labrador and a Shar Pei x Pit Bull x Bloodhound puppy of 3 months old arrived at the shelter today and are all in need of homes.

Will be heading off to the pound at 5:00 this evening. Thirty minutes to go. Look forward to a long update as well as photos.

McDonough Pound

The second McDonough Pound entry.

After George's vet appointment was made last night, he was found deceased inside his kennel. We are unsure of his illness. All we can do is hope & pray the other dogs do not and have not caught the sickness.

8 week old Spaniel x Beagle arrived yesterday evening. Very sweet girl. I am expecting her to be adopted quickly.

Bullmastiff x Great Pyreness [as owners describd], merle in color arrived at the pound yesterday...

First McDonough County Animal Shelter entry. It's been busy at the pound lately!

Dr. Dre and Creamer were euthanized.

Macey and Stormy I are due to be euthanized if the local Labrador rescue does not decide to take them.

6 week old Labrador x Dalmatian puppy with ringworm has few days left.

Yesterday two starved dogs were dumped off. One German Pinscher, one Manchester Terrier x Miniature Pinscher.

German Pinscher dumped...
