I've got a self-cleaning dog. Nanook loves, loves, loves baby wipes and if I toss a couple on the floor she will clean herself. Rolling all over them like she would a stinky fish until she smells baby fresh. Nice! I bet you're all jealous now.

My parents are visiting, so yesterday I'm heading out and I decide to leave Nanook and Mav loose in the house. I mean, they are adult dogs. They've been housetrained. They have been in their crates for over a year so hopefully any bad tendencies would be curbed. Plus, I thought I might be gone for awhile.

Steve and I went for a drive today after running some errands and we found a new place to take the dogs. They weren't with us. But it was good to know.

I bought a halti for Nanook a few weeks ago and have just been letting her wear it around the house.

Today I took her out with it for the first time and ... well she wasn't a fan! She tossed her head and tried to rub it off on my leg. I decided to walk her to the pet supply store cuz we needed a new leash anyway.

About 10 minutes into the walk she started to relax more and stopped tossing her head as much but our leash was too short and she could only relax her head...
