| Mom went in for her lung surgery at nine thirty this morning. Dad called a few minutes ago to say they'd taken her into the OR. I'm so nervous. They're removing a quarter of her left lung because of cancerous cells in it. How does someone who's never even picked up a cigarette, much less smoked one, end up with lung cancer? Its totally unfair. No offence to my mom, but she's one of the most straight edge people I've ever met (maybe that's where I get it). It seems like bad things always happen to... |
