She is gonna have her paws full, lol! And just the thought of eight Jack Russell puppies . . . if the cuteness doesn't totally overwhelm you trying to keep up with their propensity for mischief will :D

Those ARE big puppies!! Nice and healthy! More pics please!! The thought of 8 JRT's makes me want to pass out. I owned one once and he was smarter than me and gave me a run for my money everyday!!!LOL :D

thanks everyone, i'm over the moon and she whelped by the book, well she comes from a line of easy whelpers. She is a great mum I knew she would be, we have a runt she weighs 140g and was pup no 7, the heaviest 3 are 240g and the others are 200g and 180g, here is s recent pic of them all settled

Ohh, ya! In about 4 weeks they'll be wanting a playground! Grammy would have long tubes for them to go through etc...

She started hard labour at 10:27 and by 11:15 we had a girl, then all was finished at 2:45

Yep tired and hungry i missed breakfast and lunch lol, she didnt want to stand up after, poor girl, but then it wasnt a long labour so we were lucky

Not yet, we had a few lined up but they are not the colours they wanted, they are 7 weekd now so not long, well we have a home for one little girl, I am keeping her

Wow! I thought my Jrt/Prt whelped a big litter. She had 7 male pups on Sept. 3, 2005. 3 are going to show homes and the rest are going to pet homes. Be sure to get your bitch on Calium. I know that helped mine with that big of a litter. How tall is your bitch? Be prepared, I am going on 4 weeks and I am having to supplement the pups also.
