My mix of a chihuaha is still young (not sure of age). A few days ago she peed on my sisters friend :confused:. After this she always pees when she sees someone and gets exited. This is really weird or is it common. How can i solve this problem. Vartan

Boris did it a few times. Soooo embarassing. Although one day some guy came in who wanted to sell me some stuff and he was REALLY insistant, and heard Boris bark so said he would like to see him, so I let him in the room, and he peed all over him, it was priceless...
But I really don't have much advice except to get her used to seeing more people.

Make sure your pup empties her bladder before you friends come over! Also, it helps if they ignore her til she calms down. Don't let them make a fuss over her at the greeting and she will be less likely to pee.

This is a submissive gesture, she may be a little scared (and very excited!). Don't let the visitors loom over her or grab at her. Instead let them offer her some treats, then ignore her.
