View Full Version : crate
well last night i woke up to hear yoshi making this screaming barking noise so i got up and she had gotten her paw stuck in this space. it was shaped like a square with a rectangle attached to it. i think she had fallen asleep and then stretched and pushed her paw sideways into it. but she had woken up and couldn't move. when i got to her she was making this screaming noise and trying to lay on her side but couldn't because of her paw. i thought the crate was a pretty good one. it was a bit large at first but since she's grown so much it turned out to be the right sized. some of my friends said i should put something over it, but she chews on a lot of things right now. she's good with just chewing on her stuff but when i'm not there i don't think it's a good idea to have something there she can get a hold of. so should i just buy a new crate or what?

That is why many of us prefer the plastic crates--what are called "airline crates". They are a bit warmer than the wire crates, but if you keep your house cooled that shouldn't be a problem. Or if you are concerned, you can get a box fan and blow it into the crate.
Dogs sure can scream when they get hung up like that, huh? They sound as though someone were peeling the skin off of them, rofl. Scares the sh!t out of the poor humans around!!!!!!
