Ok what do you do with a dog who hates her rails, hubby put together her whelping pen today and she went in and pulled out all the rails, so it had to be done again without the rails! She is such a silly girl

Well i'm hoping that she will be ok with them when the pups are here
Can u not fix them in on a semi pemanant basis, till she no longer needs the welping box,? they are needed, so I would not allow her to take them out,

I know she needs them they were fixed but she went mental and riped them out

I'd leave them out until after then whelp... you'll be right there with her and will be removing the pups as they arrive... will give her more room, and when it's over place them in, slowly. She'll be too busy with her babies to notice.

yep thats what I thaught i put them in to see how it all fitted and she juat jumped in and went mental, was quite funny really, not to worry as I have sorted the prob it seems that she only likes plastic rails so thats what I have used
lol what a funny girl, so she is happy with the plastic ones? well you have got to keep the future little mum happy lol
