I'm getting abit irrate here from a certain youngster who continues to pm me because I happen to think a gang bashing on Manchesters is inappriopriate so I'm going to lay it out.
In the health forum she was rude and I said it like I saw it go and read it [euthanise fluid, kidney failure]
In the training forum for some worped reason when she gives advice everyone jumps on her thinking she is beating her dogs, pull crap like that out of the blue.
In the blue poodle thread she said she did not like appricote poodles she found them ugly. Never said they were bad dogs or anything they just weren't for her. Problem is what? I think boxers are ugly. Are they bad dogs? Don't know never owned one and I never will they aren't for me. So we are entitled to our opinions and others should respect us for that and state their own opinions.
Like for example: well Manchesters you may find the apricote poodles ugly but I think they are cute. Which I really have no opinion on them but that is an example. Personally I think as long as they are not clipped in the usual way poodles are nice looking but I find the clip rather ugly however the reason behind it makes perfect sense. Too keep the vital areas warm when they swim as they are retrievers. Makes sense but I still don't like it. Personal opinion not suggesting anything is wrong with it. So stop pm ing me with this crape and make up your own mind and just state your opinion rather than attacking someone.

I guess I read differently because I did not see that I saw her ask some of them to read the posts and not to accuse her of horrible things, ie abuse. I also saw her tell the youngsters to bug off after they started falsely accusing her if whipping her dogs and abusing her dogs.

If there is no respect then we have a problem point was to encourage a youngster to stop harrassing me and so far it has worked no more pm's insulting me and being rude to me. I could care less about who's rude first really, no one has the right to be rude and if anyone is that bad or that rude in your opinion then ignore them.

If you have a problem with a certain youngster that's pm'ing you, and you haven't worked it out between the two of you, then next time please alert a moderator to handle the situation. There's not a need for a public post to target the youngster...

If I was publically attacking the youngster I would have stated their name now wouldn't I. This way there is no personal attack and maybe the youngster will also learn a few things like how to be polite when stating opinions because really that is the end line here. Yes Manchesters could be politer as well, and I must admit that by fighting [defending herself] people get insulted. Don't ya think if everyone that is doing the attacking would just settle down and post their own experieences and own ideas it would be much better for everyone? If you want to close this so be it. I am NOT attacking you and I'm NOT saying you were publically attacking a youngster! I simply stated that there is no need to "target" this youngster in your public post when you are having a problem with him/her. (I don't care WHO it is). That's why there are Moderators!!! I read the whole thread and they had already apologized and such-- the fact that she called another youngster a wannabe communist and said that anyone who is a youngster doesn't know ****, **** me off.

Did you happen to read the thread? I believe 1 or 2 people misinterpreted and then apologized... that was the end of it. But then as I stated before she went on to say that youngsters know nothing.

Im not even reading this entire thread because it is pointless waist of time. most issues with manchesters have either been worked out between everyone who was actually involved, or put behind us. if "a certain youngster" is pm'ing you and you are unable for whatever reason to work it out between yourself, contact a moderator or chazhound, use the ignore option given to you by this forum, or just delete the pm's without reading them. creating a thread which will obviously (should have known) do nothing but create a new fight thread was just immature.

Good idea can someone tell me who the moderator is that is responsible for pm problems for future reference because it seems after posting this thread which I agree is a waste of time and should not even ever have been done, it has stopped. I used the ignore button but the pm's still got through. I will try it again next time though maybe I did it too fast or wrong or something. I have nothing personally against anyone, how could I? I have never even met any of you chatted with a couple of you, talked on phone with a couple never met in person yet though. This was not an attempt to be immature or start a fight between anyone, and if someone takes it that way oops sorry. I was really frustrated and after three times saying please don't pm me again, bug off and go away I still recieved pm's. Give me a break. I appreciate everyone saying lets get along and I agree 100%, everyone get along. It seems things are quieter on some threads and louder on others but that is human nature too. I only knew how to contact chazhound, and assumed chazhound was a mod/admi because its the same name as the forum.
and what good is the ignore option if the member you choose to ignore can still send you pm's? how about an ignore + block option on here???
I cant believe this site has been around longer than the ones I am a moderator for, yet we have atleast 4-6 moderators on almost anytime, and they are labeled as a moderator on the whos online screen, and on every posts we make, and on those forums if you choose to ignore a user they connot contact you in any way.
and dont say if you dont like it leave. not gonna happen because I do like this site. I just dont like a few things about it.

I agree, but the thread never would have been started by yuckaduck if he/she (sorry, not sure) knew who the moderators were in the first place. chazhound, yours says alpha dog, but without asking I wouldnt know that meant you were a moderator or I assume administrator. I just think it would save a whole lot of trouble if it wasnt so secretive. I have no doubt this isnt the case but it almost seems as if the mods and admins dont want anyone to know who they are.

There was certainly no intent to be hurtful. On the contrary, when I made that statement, I was making it with genuine concern for a well accepted fact written by many reputable behaviorists and trainers, not just myself. And that is that often when you use punishment to treat aggression, it may quell the behavior for the time being. The dog is subdued but the underlying issue the dog has, whatever is in his psyche which is causing the aggression has not been dealt with. He has not been gradually conditioned to accept whatever situation it is which is causing his aggressive reactions. This can and does very frequently cause this behavior to lie dormant for some time and come out again later. It is not a reliable way to modify aggressive behavior. Now, some may say that they don't think certain actions are aggressive or harsh. That is certainly a matter of opinion. But based on what I have studied in regards to canine behavior, what I have read from many reputable behaviorists, (and I've read a lot) this is the conclusion I came to. This was my opinion. I did not personally insult anyone. I merely indicated that I hoped that nothing would happen down the road with this dog, a genuine concern, not a sarcastic word was written.

Some may thrive on the arguments and degrading of others, but it is really getting old. I was really annoyed with Manchesters verbal attacks, but this stuff is not even worth reading anymore. Just let it go, I am really interested in learning new things and sharing what knowledge I have, and I feel I can't even do that because of the attitude in this forum, it really has changed in a few weeks.
Manchesters, I love Judge Judy, but she is getting paid big bucks to have that attitude, you are not. She has to have the ratings. You do not. I have said somethings I wish I didn't, but you really rub people the wrong way. I do believe you have lots of experience, but really, why don't you help the young, inexperienced dog owners in a way that they will look up to you for, and realize they can learn from your knowledge, instead of degrading them, and calling them names. These kids will be here longer than you or I and I would rather them get knowledge, from you, than to think all you did for them was hurt. I realize you have been holding your tongue, cause I have not read many "bad posts" lately from you. But if you keep trying and change your attitude for the better, I am sure you could really make an impact on members here, and help their dogs have happier lives.
It can still be a fun thing to help the less experienced with a great attitude!!!
And for the thick skin thing, try some bag balm, it will work wonders. Your skin should be normal thickness within a couple weeks.

If I got an ugly PM ,I'd deal with it myself...most of the younger members on these forums have good brains....I know you're angry, but deal with it the best you can .
