As long as it's not hard, it's fine. I took a morning sample last time and it was no problem.

Fran is right. It can't be hard because they have to mix it in a solution and with it being hard it probably wouldn't dissolve.

Well, that's lovely~ LOL No really, that is probably best so it will dissolve very fast.

I think that would be fine.
But I know, not all worms, if any show up in a fecal sample all the time. So if the vet sees a negative fecal and can not give a reasonable explanation and diagnosis, then if it were me I would insist on worm meds. (The ones I mentioned before).
Some vets seem to be great and others just try to rush you out and not have a care for the well being of your dog. I just try to keep myself informed and then I am usually a pain in the a** to my vet, but that is what I am paying him/her for, in my opinion.
Good Luck,
Julie.
Let us know how it goes!!

My vet thought it was weird when the test was negative and gave me worm meds anyway. It doesn't hurt in my opinion.
