Beke and Shorty are in need of a new home ASAP, their mom is getting remarried and moving and the dogs aren't allowed to come along. They have two weeks to find a new home or they'll be PTS. Good with dogs, people, kids, cats and walk nicely on leash. Used to being outside dogs with garage access but are housebroken. No allergies and not currently on any medication.

Beke is 13 years old, spayed female black lab mix. Still moves great for her age and has a playful streak!:

Shorty is an 11 year old neutered male corgi? mix. Very affectionate and loves to be scratched! The growths around his eyes don't seem to affect his eyesight at all. He has amazing amber colored eyes when in the sun.

Help them find a foster home or even a new forever home...at their age they don't have too much longer left, but enough so that it would be a shame to be PTS!!

Contact me via PM if you can help these sweet dogs! They don't have to stay together but it would be nice if they could.

She's a nice lady otherwise...I don't understand her in this respect but yeah. WTF is right. Though I'm more upset with the finance. Anyway...

SHe best be prepared for what else will not be allowed. I wish her well but don't approve. WHat a betrayal, no way i would seperate from mary at this point and it would crush her absolutely to be uprooted and planted with what she has never known. Poor babies, i would take one or both if i could.:(
SHe must be desperate, who couldn't wait out the lives of two old dogs out of love. I Dunna like her fiance at all.

I hate this. Why do these dogs have to be PTS. What an****. I will post this on my blog. There are too many dogs abandoned and betrayed.

Contact me at snowen1@hotmail.com.

Thanks for the link, I'll see if I can get them listed!

I believe that in this lady's mind, she's doing the best she can. The new house is very small with no yard and since these are outdoor dogs, they'd have no place to go really. Don't agree with her, but there it stands.

I am not getting any takers. All of my contacts have the same problem as me; we are all full and we do not have the resources to take in any additional animals until something opens up. Adoptions have dropped and they just are not turning dogs as quickly as they have in the past, and add in the fact that money is very tight, and it seems pretty dismal for these two babies. I'll keep begging, but it looks like we are going to need a miracle. Sorry. I wish there was something more I could do to help.
