This is sweet William, a gorgeous 1-2 yr-old shepard/collie mix. I just the love breed combination in him. He is an urgent case solely because the shelter is beyond its capacity brim. He WILL be euthanized in just days if we cannot find him a home or foster.

He is a gentleman! Very sweet, gets along beautifully with people, children, and does well with cats. He gets along with most dogs, especially with a good introduction . He is housetrained and about 45+ lbs.

William has the softest, silky coat and is a delight to pet. He enjoys walking or jogging and does well on his leash. He is motivated to please his person and will make a wonderful companion. PLEASE pass this along so he can live.

Thanks for being his advocate. I hope he is able to find a foster before it's too late. Have you contacted Best Friends?

We will probably be able to keep him for a little while if we can find a home for him soon after.

I'll talk to the family tommorow.

Everyone keep their fingers crossed!

Sweet William turned out to have a family! They had left him at their friends for three months while they went to Mexico. I don't know the details of how he got to the pound but his family on return went to look for him and they found him! It was a close call. For any details e-mail Perrin.

I don't care what the details are . . . I think I'd KILL my friends.

For real, I got ticked when Rob's mother left my dog out on a chain all day while she was at work, but to actually LOSE the dog? I'd school them all down the block.

Lose the dog and then not break their backs to find it. As in call every shelter, rescue, vet, etc.
