our puppies are fighting

We have two golden lab puppies, 11 weeks old and I want to know how much fighting is "normal". For the most part Jedi and Daisy are getting along fine and play fight but sometimes it will escalate and they are really going at it! I know they will try and be dominant but I'm worried b/c they are getting bigger and I don't want my kids (or myself) getting hurt in the crossfire. And I don't see either of them backing down. I know to throw water on them or startle them to stop it, but I'm just really worried about it continuing and getting worse. Or is this just normal behavior that will subdue?

Play can sometimes look very "rough" when indeed it is just play. It can also get quite loud. If it seems to be escalating too much then separate them and give them a time-out away from each other for a few minutes. They should be fine, it is very rare for puppies to actually fight, but they do learn a lot from play fighting with littermates, so don't be too concerned, just use your judgement on when too much is too much and you call the shots!!

they are probably just playing. Labs play very rough. My lab is horrible and she growls and barks and you think she's trying to kill the other dog but she's just playing away.

Right now is the time to set the boundaries YOU want on how far it goes. Let them play and have their wrestling matches, but when you feel that it's going too far, do like Showpugs said and separate them for awhile. Now, while they are small pups, is the time to teach them just how much you will allow.

Jedi and Daisy have calmed down a lot. They still run around and wrestle but nothing that it is worrying me anymore! When I thought they were getting out of hand I would stop it and I think they may learning how far they should go. YAY!
