Anyone know what might be in this Chi mix?

Was down at the local shelters today looking at dogs and came across this cute little dog they had labeled as a Chihuahua mix. She is ~8 weeks old.

My g/f and I already have a 2 y/o JRT in the house (apt.) and are looking for a second "child" (We aren't keen on ever having just an only child in the house be it human or otherwise :) ). I have read somethings about Chi's being not so good with other breeds, especially a breed like a Jack that can be pretty dominant.

Anyways, my question is that this cute little pup doesn't look much like most Chi's I have seen, what do you think this dog is mixed with? what's the liklihood it would work well with our other child? Thanks

I dont see any chihuahua at all. could be terrier but looks like a young puppy. if it wasnt for a few things such as the small feet, I would say something like shepherd or blue heeler crossed with lab. judging from the pics I would guess it is already as big as your JRT??? it will most likely double in size. from the size of the feet in proportion to the rest of the body I doubt it will get bigger than twice its current size. if Im right your jrt will do fine with this dog. sometimes jrt's dont do well with dogs smaller than themselves, but typically do okay (rule the roost) with a larger dog.

I no expert but it looks like she has some corgi in her. Are you sure it's a chi mix?

I agree that this pup probably has no chi at all she looks more like blue healer lab mix my guess or a lab terrier mix I would say she will grow to about 20-30 pounds she is a doll though and I love those ears

Our JRT is about 18 lbs currently and I'd say this dog was actually about half that size, both in weight and size.

This little girl was in a pen with two other Chi mixes of the same age and I presume all from the same household though thats just an assumption based on the fact that they all looked similar (except that the others were black and black/grey speckled and one of them was significantly smaller than the other two, about half sized).

Her personality was rather reserved, she didn't wag her tail but she would come up and lick us a lot and as you can see she was okay being held, but overall very quiet and reserved. She was a little more active (tail seen wagging) when in the pen with the other two, but definently the shyest of the bunch.
