I need a good dryer to groom two Bedlington terriers. I would like it to do an efficient job, but not be too loud or too big. I know they are expensive, but I'm not worried about that. Thanks for any suggestions.

Do you want a stand dryer or a forced air dryer?

Forced air dryers are loud, you are not getting away from that.

My big stand dryer is about the same volume as a human hair dryer. My forced air dryer is loud but I don't use it for extended amounts of time.

I would recommend a Double K if you are looking for something with a little more power than the Metro Air Force, or if money really isn't an option I LOVE the K-9 dryers!!! The
K9III is a groomers best friend (I don't like cage dryers) so this is my number one choice.

Thank you very much for the suggestions. What do you think about the K-9 Mini Dryer?

Also, Mrandrei - which dryer is that? Thanks.

The K9 mini is a GREAT portable dryer. Air speed is just over 32000, the most powerful portable dryer on the market! I would recommend it in a heartbeat.

Great thread
I was just going to start a thread asking the same thing. My dog has a very thick undercoat and I thought maybe a dryer would help by blowing out some of the undercoat. She is so thick that even using conditioner she still matts up after her bath.

I was wondering if any one has used the Dri-Dog Pet Dryer? It mentions that it is alot quieter.
Is the K9 mini very loud?

I have an air force single speed and it works well. Very good in blowing off the coat of my dog.
