jogging

I've been jogging with my 3month puppy, (jogging 2-3 blocks) and walking the rest of the way on his walks for the last week or so. (our walks are usually 40-1h long). Am I raising his chances of getting arthiritis early by jogging him already? I've never heard of the time I should be jogging with him.. and I don't want to hurt him.

I have heard that extensive running for dogs under 6 months (older the larger the dog will be) can put too much stress on their joints. But that is only what I have heard.

I've been hearing that recently too. I only jog at normal speed with him for about 2 blocks of our 40-1h walk. Walking for him is okay right?
