Once there was a puppy and his owner. They went on a walk for 2 hours, all over their neighbor, and the puppy did not go once! Then when it was getting late, the disappointed owner walked her puppy home, and while the owner was putting away the leash,to her surprise, the puppy went on the carpet!

(turns out the puppy's name was Luke and the owner's name was soccerwoofer)

We took Bimmer and Shiva with us when we spent New Year's Eve at a friend's place. They both behaved quite well (we knew Bimmer would, but Shiva was a big question), except that Shiva wouldn't go. She kept pawing the door, and one of us would take her out and walk her - in the cold - but she wouldn't go! She held it until we got back home at 10:30 the next morning! There is hope, young 'Woofer, for Luke, after all, when Shiva was a baby, she did exactly the same thing to us Luke is doing to you.

I remember when my daughter was growing up....Jesse our black lab mix would console her when she cried. He never asked any questions....but was just there to give her unconditional love. We all should learn from that. Loved you letter.....Phyl :D
