We brought home a 15mos. old female German Shepherd. Through a friend who works with a dog rescue org. Anyway, the lady who gave her up. Said the dog, Was very active. (strange huh) Also said that she didn't know it would get so big and jump on the small grandkids etc. They kept her crated at night, and lived in the country. So she has not had any socialization. With people or pets. She met our older female Shepherd. There was the usual bump and push dominance thing. Sometimes they will snap at one another. She has been here a week. And has done well with me my son and wife. I think with training and time she will be a part of the family. You should of seen her at first. Fearful of everything that moved. Would growl and try to get away. I'm having some training isues. I will probaly ask for help with. I wanted everyone to know how this progresses.
