Okay, I just got a new puppy from a friend....He wasn't sure of the breed, as he was just given this puppy the other day.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out by possibly naming a few breeds....I guess whatever he looks similar to. I believe I was told he is part boxer.

I would have to say boxer or boxer mix.

Where did you get him from? That's really young age to get a puppy at.

Who did your friend get the puppy from?

That is REALLY too young for a pup to leave it's mother.

Too young !!!!

I know it is too young for him to have already been weaned....It wasn't really a friend, some guy I had just met really, who couldn't keep the dog so I told him I'd have him....He also said that he had been eating cat food....Needless to say, I had to take him in.

But he's doing well now and he has my other dog, Link, for paternal love. (Link is Pit/Blue Heeler/Dalmatian)

I'm glad he is doing good, just make sure to get him to some obedience classes and tons of socializing with people/dogs or all shapes and sizes.
Good luck :)

My first dog, Link Angel, is almost 14 months and he's 80#. Pit/Blue Heeler/Dalmatian mix. I've had him since the day he was born (we had his mother). But here are some pictures of Kaiden's playmate. I know they are going to have so much fun together!!

Oh, no. That is my brother. Those puppy pics were from a little over a year ago. And the one with the teddy bear was about 5 months ago.

His lip curls in sometimes because his left bottom tooth sticks out.

No way! He may have some boxer in him, but he's also got a lot of pitt bull. I really don't see any boxer in him, not in shape or build, but I do see pitt.

The little puppy in the first pics, light colored, that is Kaiden Rusty. He is roughly 5 weeks old. And I believe he is boxer/jack russell terrier.

The black dog is Link Angel. He is almost 14 months, approx. 80#, and Pit/Blue Heeler/Dalmatian.

Maybe it's just because he's so young but he sure looks a lot like my puppy, Chyna who is a pug/rat terrier. Check out her picture in the puppy forum and tell me if you don't agree!

he looks like he has some boxer in him. At 9 weeks i got my boxer/pit mix but he was much larger than yours. How old is he? He's a cutie!

The first thing I thought when I looked at that pic was Pit. Maybe not full-blooded, but I think he has it in him somewhere. I see no Boxer at all. But, his paws aren't all that big, so he is probably mixed with some sort of Terrier. You will be able to tell much better when he gets older and his features fill out more.
