Hello All!!
My name is Debbie, and I have just become 'mom' to an 8-week-old mini dachshund. Our family has wanted a 'doxie' for several years now ... so this is nothing less than a dream-come-true for us! I found a wonderful breeder, and was able to tour the kennel where I got a chance to meet the mother and father dog. To make a long story short, we chose a male mini long-haired dachshund. He is a charming, sweet little boy.
It has been about 10 years since I have raised a puppy ... so I'm glad that I found this forum. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions along the way ... !
