AWWWW. I love stories like that. There are quite a few of them, which just proves that there are good people out there who will do anything to save a dog.

I hate seeing that soldiers can be idiots. I served proudly and it kills me to see things like the other thread, I know that the military as a whole is not like that at all.

I figured a positive article showing that would give every one warm fuzzies...it did me :)

There is abook I just read about a marine who saved and brought back a dog its called "From Baghdad with love". Its a good book if you really like animals and your right its nice to see compassion in the world not always drag out the bad stuff. Which the media always seems to do.
