Hi, I joined a while ago and got right to asking questions and didn't even think of introducing myself! Anyway...
I'm 13 years old and I love animals. Dogs are my favorite, always have been.
My pets are:
-A yellow labrador mix named Chewita, but we call her Chewy. She is my dog, and super smart. She is 3 1/2 years old.
-Two albino rabbits named Dorothy and Toby. They are brother and sister, but it's easy to tell that Dorothy is the boss.
-A black and white chihuahua named Zita. She is hyper, but sweet and smart at the same time. She is 1 year old.
-A male dwarf hamster named Latte.
I love all my pets, but this year we have to give the rabbits away. I hate to do it, but we travel between two houses all year and it's hard finding someone to take care of them and give them the attention they need.
We have a summer home in the Northwest of the US, and a winter home (which is also a resort that my parents own/run) in Baja. The dogs are easy to travel with, Chewy just goes into hibernation and Zita is small enough that she can even run around in the back of our car and burn some energy. The hamster is fine too, he is sort of oblivious to everything, but very entertaining to watch in the car.
I'm homeschooled, and I love reading, walking/running, riding horses, and some writing now and then. Like I mentioned earlier I love dogs and learning anything I can about them, and I want to study animal behavior once I graduate.
That about summarizes everything I think...
