Daisy is having leakage problems again. She is wearing depends currently because she's leaving little puddles around. Its not urine, it smells kinda sweaty and its a clear mucus-like liquid. We used to think it was a pseudo-heat, but I think its happening too frequently for that. It could be the other thing the vet suggested, which is an overactive gland. Daisy is going to the vet Friday because her ear infection is back and I don't have any more ear medicine, and I am going to talk to the vet again about Daisy's feminine problem. I don't want to put her on hormones (one thing the vet suggested before) or have to have them put her under to explore stuff.
Sigh. Dogs. :/

Is she spayed? My shepherd had that same problem, and it turned out to be pyometria (sp?)(I think that's what it was called) She had to be spayed in order to stop the infection.

Update:
Daisy has a bacterial infection in her ears, so I have some Tri-Otic for that (ointment) and the vet also gave me some antibiotic capsuls to see if the leakage is connected to an infection since Daisy had a bladder infection not too long ago.

So far the antibiotics seem to be working, Daisy's "panties" have been dry since we started them.
