Alternative treatments for an ACL Injury

Does anyone have any suggestions for alternative treatments for a chocolate lab with an ACL injury that is inoperable (per the specialists and surgeon). He is on arthritis medication, a glucosamine regimin, attempting some weight loss (aren't we all), two walks a day, and once the weather turns, we will be swimming for some water therapy.....Any other suggestions??

It really sounds like he is getting good care medically. I do have some information on alternative health for dogs but it is somewhat dated now. We are working on the resource health area now and will pass you any sites that we run across that may be able to help.
