Is an american stafforshire terrier a big breed? Can you guys tell me a bit about them.

i have an am.staff terrier mix, but his size is more like a boxer. the purebreds are almsot like the am.pitbulls.

I wouldn't exactly call them small :). They're medium sized. If you see one that's over 100+ lbs., it's either not a purebred or comes from bad lines.

28-38 for males is pretty small :D

my auntie owned a lovely staffy, the arn't small but they arn't medium either i don't know where you would put them, but they are BUTCH.
