View Full Version : Met my puppy buyers this weekend!

So I met my puppy buyers in person for the first time this weekend! I was so nervous because people can always look good on paper and sound good on the phone and over email, but the true test is how they come across in person! Well, I met both couples and they were fantastic! I couldn't have imagined better people for my pups than these two couples if I had to. It was such a relief. I know now that when they go off to their new homes that they will be in the BEST of hands. Todd will be headed to Seattle and Eleanor will be staying locally here in Portland. Both will be close enough that I may get to visit and see them throughout their lives, another thing that makes me very happy! Anyway, I just wanted to share as I am on cloud nine right now!:D

I am glad you are able to keep them close by. I still miss my ones that are gone far away so very much.

They're lucky puppy buyers, too! I would love to find a breeder who cares sooo much about their puppies and their breed.
That's so great!! Like we said with Red, you have to have an addendum to your contract that states they must become members of Chaz so they can keep us updated. :D

I hope they both keep in touch with you. My Max is 5 years old now and I still email pics to his breeder so she knows how he is doing.

It great when breeders and owners can stay in touch. I still email Sal breeder, especially on Mother's and Father's day.
I used to email the rescue lady for Athena on mother's day but Athena's mom has passed.

I agree! I am still in touch with Mona's breeder and Alice's breeder. I know by meeting my puppy buyers that I'll get pictures and updates regularly. I promised myself I wouldn't stalk them! lol! ;)
