my boxer cross rhodesian ridgeback keeps getting an upset stomach.
hes had it on off for about 1 week now.
i thought it would get better but then he gets it again.
it sometimes hard then gets runny like water and spit.
i have given him rice and charcol but only works for a couple of poohs then back runny again.
i doesn't keep going goes about 4/5 times a day.
it seems to be worse at nite time??

I give mine some pumpkin. I buy it in a can in the baking section of my food store. Buy the plain pumpkin. I will feed them the pumpkin for the day and maybe give a little boiled chicken with the last feeding.
Have you changed his food or do you feed anything different at night?

Has your puppy had a stool test done at your vet? Almost all puppies are born with worms and there are MANY different types that they can have. Worms cause soft stool. Take your puppy to the vet for proper worming and testing....this is a part of normal puppy care. If you have already done this, then I would make sure that your puppy is on a good foor like Innova or Canidae and you will find that this takes care of the problem...the canned pumpkin (no spices) is a good choice as well. Make sure you don't give too much. A teaspoon is usually enought to do the trick!!

Sounds like the same problem Chyna is having!
Chilled...if you switch his food abruptly, it isn't going to help matters any. You have to mix the foods and switch him over gradually.
If you wind up taking him to the Vets, I would be very interested in what your Vet had to say.
My pup is doing the same thing as yours and has been for over a week. Everything else about her is fine.
BTW, guys...the pumpkin didn't work for her.

Just take a stool sample to the vets now for testing.....and DO switch the food slowly.
