in a dogs pedigree, what does Progeny mean?

I am going back through Maya's pedigree and seeing how far I can get, so far I am having better luck on Maya's Dam's side... I have gone back 6 generations, but just found one more generation.
On the site there is something called "Progeny" with a long list of dogs names.

HOLY MOLy! That one extra generation that i just found, turned into 4 more generations with just one click!

EDIT- HOLY CRAP!!!! Ok... this website (www.dobequest) is amazing! I have gotten back to the 1900 was the earliest birthdate that they had listed for one of Maya's ancestors... and they went all the way back to Germany!!!

The progeny would be the pups, grand-pups, great grand-pups, etc. ;)

That's always fun. I've been able to trace Trey's dad's side all the way back to collies in England. :)

I am one of the dobequest volunteers that inputs information from various sources.

Progeny refers only to the offspring of that particular dog.

Vignettes are just what it says - personal stories that people wish to share about the dog, usually provided by the owner or breeder.

I love Dobequest, it's great - especially since now I'm a DPCA member, I can input information of my own about my own dogs!
