Umm. I read the story and there is nothing about fighting off the bear.
All i see is dog running for its life and barely getting out.

In the broadcast version they made it sound like the bear went to turn on the lady and the dog chased it back out.
Your right, when I read the story it didn't sound anything like the broadcast version.

No the dog got out first.
When they broadcast this story on the TV they made it sound like the dog was a hero, but in the written story they make the dog sound like it caused the whole thing.

Oh, I saw that on one of the morning news shows last week. They said "Rosie" is still healing.
