Sorry everyone, it is suddenly so busy around here when I look up it's 11pm and time for bed it seems. I will get stacked pictures of them at 7 weeks in the next several days.

We did the PAT testing yesterday, and I thought everyone did SUPERBLY well. Every single one of these puppies showed very strong retrieving behavior. EVERY single one went after the wadded up paper ball and picked it up, and all but ONE brought it back to the tester.

They all followed well, Killed the towel that was dragged by on a leash. There was a vast majority of 3s on the testing for the puppies. There were one or two of all the other numbers in various areas, but the majority of all puppies were in the 3s and 4s with one or two 2s. Great midrange temperaments for puppies to excell at a variety of disciplines later in life. I was very very pleased.

Leaders of the pack right now for pick include Milton, Bruce, Betty, and Danny.

:D

I will try to have some more pix later today. It is so busy around here I hardly have time to log on any more!

Puppies are all doing great. We had our first big outing yesterday. The local bank where we do business adores Penny. She and I have gone there since she was very young. So yesterday I loaded all the babies up, and we went up to visit. I took several of them inside, and then went back out and everyone had their first leash walking lesson.

This bank has a huge shade tree in the parking lot, and the weather was so nice, so while they lounged in the van in the shade, I took them out one at a time and walked them around in this parking lot.

These puppies continue to amaze me. Each one walked boldly on the leash, explored a bit, visited with new people, watched cars go by, and in general had a wonderful time. They are naturals with good eye contact, and moved along great with me on the leash.

Next Saturday is going home day for 5 puppies, and I want them to be able to walk on leash for their new owners, so we will be working on that daily this coming week.

In fact in just a bit I'm going to load them all up and we are off for another big adventure. I promise to take my camera. :D
