Darcy (just changed name from Rosie) has been with us for almost a week, she is just under a yr old, and came from a farm.
We love her to death so far, but she has one strange problem I have never seen in a dog. She is fine in the house when we are gone (no chewing, barking or accidents of any kind) but will go pee right in front of us, even if she has just been for a long walk.

How do I deter this behaviour???
She does not seem overly excited when she does it and one time it was not pee (if you get what I mean) ewwww.
We have brand new carpeting, so I really want to fix this fast.
I have never had to house train b/f (I generally adopt or foster older dogs).
So I am a little lost.

Any suggestions, on a good book, or training technique would be great. This will not be part of her obediance class, is there any other type of class I should look into.

Any help would be great , thanks, Stacy

Thank I had done the search and found that right after I posted, guess I shoulda looked first, that is all very helpful. And the last two days have been much better, only one accident.

thanks
