New here - Jackson

I am new here and have really enjoyed viewing your posts and pictures of your dogs. I have attached a picture of Jackson (I hope anyway). I got him from an animal rescue, knew he was the one for me immediately. He cuddled like a cat and was a wonderful companion. I work from home so he would lay in my lap while I worked, LOVED car rides and was wonderful with my daughter. Best dog I ever owned. However, he shot out of the front door one day and was hit by the pizza delivery driver and died instantly. It broke my heart! :( Anyway, I would like to get a new dog but none of the others seem to compare. I would clone him if I had the money. He was a boston terrier/chihuahua mix.

Hello & welcome to Chaz.I'm sorry to hear of Jackson's loss. I know how you feel. We lost a great dog too, on the road, when visiting relatives. He left the house when the pizza delivery man came on a motor cycle, which he hated. He must have ran away while we were having dinner.
I'm sure you'll find another dog from the shelters as there are many needing loving homes.

Jackson is a beauty and nothing makes me happier then to read the word "rescue". I am so sorry his stay was short but i am sure you let him know this world was not all tragedy and sadness for even a short bit of bliss is worth a lifetime.
