Hi,
I'm new here. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 7 rats, and 2 tarantulas.
First is my clown, Buddy. He is a 3 year old lab/pit mix. Buddy is a ham, always wants to be the center of attention and loves to make people laugh. He is a big teddy bear, just the sweetest boy ever. I adopted him when he was 10 months old from the shelter I work at. He was on the
euthanasia list, but he was too wonderful for me to let him be put down!!
Here is my Buddy boy:

Then I have a one year old chihuahua named Scout. Scout is a sweetheart. She loves people, animals, everything. She is currently in the process of becoming certified as a therapy dog. She still has some puppy in her and likes to chew on things, but really is a great little dog. She is my miniature german shepherd. ;)
Here is Scout:

And the two together:

About me: I work at a local shelter and for a well known animal behaviorist. I love doing both. Saving animals and finding them homes is my passion. I foster, rescue, transport, whatever I can do to help homeless animals. I love working with animals. I get to go on behavior consults, help run obedience classes and kitten classes, work with aggressive dogs, etc. What I ultimately want to do is work with "unadoptable" animals in order to make them adoptable and then find them homes.
