Hi, my name is Nicole. I've been looking at this forum since last night, and I *think*, that this is a really nice place and filled with people that I can get along with and understand. I'm still technically a "child", not yet a "real" adult where I can go buy booze or anything. I moved from Illinois to Arkansas and now I'm moving back into Illinois this weekend. I have to set up internet there so I don't know how often or when I'll be back. I'm a very "unique" and complicated child, I honestly think if I could act I could be a spy because I can look like anything, like in my profile photo I look French. ANYWHO. My family:
I acquired my first Japanese Chin when I was 15, I named him Devlin. He is really a perfect dog, if he didn't pee on everything. He's getting fixed and we'll work on it(I'm broke and jobless, go me). He is a B/W, he was a showdog, thats why he wasn't fixed prior, never won, ALTHOUGH I thoroughly believe he had a few won except the judge was stupid and would let a cute little chubby boy win even if the dog looked horrible.:mad:Devlin is now 4 years old. I don't have a photo of Devlin on my computer, not sure why.
I acquired my second Japanese Chin(can you tell I'm addicted?) a little while later...I think a year after Devlin. She is the first photo. She, from day one until she got spayed, was depressed. A sad depressed dog, and no matter what I tried to do she was still depressed. Then once she was spayed, two days after she transformed into this happy playful little girl. Its a beautiful change I love seeing her this happy. She is spoiled and gets to sleep in bed with me.*yay* Devlin would be able to sleep in bed too but I'm positive he'll pee during the night.
I decided to "go for it" cat wise and get the cat I've wanted for a few years now. Satu is an Exotic Shorthair, she is also spayed, and I declawed her. I mainly did it for the safety of my Chins because of their bug eyes they get scratched so easily. Satu is a really sweet funny cat though, I know its because of the declaw, even though she can bite hard.
Then I decided to get my boyfriend a puppy for Christmas. We've been going back and forth on a bully breed, basically either a Staffy or a Pitty. Well, I surprised him with Stump, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He's black brindle/white. He wasn't born until January, but thats okay. If I told you all the issues we're having with him, you probably wouldn't be able to tell us why he's doing what he is. We really need Cesar Millan to come over:p . He's a pretty good dog, but he's like a toddler. Stump is that kind of toddler where if you saw him with his parents and he was acting like such a s**thead that you think 'god, I'm glad he's not MY kid', Stump is that kind of child. He has his good days, and when he's good he's really good and I fall in love with him. He's doing pretty well right now, but, I wonder if he'll grow up once he's a few years old. Probably not. He is fixed, as well. Once we move we're going to get him in obedience, there were no classes down here except one, and she didn't require vaccines, that made me uncomfortable, plus, the classes were outside. I'm not going to pay $100 for being outside in hot weather. So, Stump is a typical terrier(I'm reminded why I don't like terriers), yet I love all the bully breeds...Go figure.
I'm adding yet another addition to the family. Kaimi, a Solomon Island Eclectus. She'll be here in November. Thats about it, besides I'm going to be on my toes with her, she knows how to open her cage at her breeder's and she does it a LOT.
Then I'm thinking about adding someone else. An old dog of mine, that I left because of her aggression issues. Now that I'm coming back I want to work with her, but I don't know if it'll be worth it. That'll be a new thread. Her name is Daisy and she's a Standard Poodle, a sometimes dog aggressive, but mainly small animal aggressive. Yes, she has killed many, many, many times. Yet I want to try...Maybe I'm stupid. Anywho, thats my intro, sorry for making a novel out of it.

No, not at all. There has been some controversy today, which happens on occasion. But there are lots of nice, friendly, knowledgeable people here!
