Hello, I am new to this site and I thought I would start off by introducing myself and my dog. I love the idea of a Chatroom site where you can talk to people who share the same interests in dogs as I do :D
My name is Hannah Smith and I live in Ontario, Canada. I just recently got a puppy. I believe the exact day was Saturday, 15th. She called to me and I had to get her. I bought her a pet store after I checked out the S.P.C.A to see if there was a dog there that I wanted. Unfortunately I couldn't find one that would be suitable for my living conditions, so I tried my luck at a Pet Store. I found she was in good health and she was a magnificient crossbreed. Her breeds are 3/4 Pug, 1/4 Terrier. I wish I knew what type of Terrier but they never told me
Posting A Pic Soon
Can't find my camera so I need to use another one to take a pic of her. Unfortunately she is going potty right now :p
Hope to talk to you all ;)

Just as a note - a petstore puppy may appear healthy, but may get ill a few days after coming home ;3 On another note -

welcome to the forum! Can't wait to see pics of the pup!

Hi and welcome to Chazhound! In the future please don't buy from a petstore. The dogs all come from Puppy mills (I promise, they always do) which are horrible places where dogs are kept in cages breeding from the time they are young until they can no longer breed at which time they are killed or sold. They are ever played with, groomer or taken to the vet. The dog's parents are filthy, starving, and frightened. The puppies are never socialized so they are prone to aggressive and fearful behavior. They are from disgusting environments and are not vet checked (neither are their parents) and are therefore prone to disease. Buying a petstore puppy supports the people who cause these dogs parents a horrible, painful life. If you google puppy mills and click images you will see what I'm talking about.

I don't blame you, most people don't know these things. The only people I get mad at are those that Do know and still choose to get a petstore puppy.

I hope your pup stays healthy and has not come with any diseases particularly parvo.

I'd love to see a picture of her! I'm sure you'll learn a lot here and I hope you enjoy the forum :D

You may have your work cut out for you because of the origin of your dog. However, you will have great advice from the collective Chaz mind. Welcome, and let's see pics!
