They're HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Everyone,

Sorry for the long delay, but we have been busy. The c-section start to finish had us at the vet wrapping everything up for 4 hours etc. so it takes a while.

Anyway, these puppies surprised us as there were only 3 pups hiding in there and making my girl ultra chubby! 2 girls and 1 boy. All are vigorous and very good nursers at this point. My fingers are crossed that things don't change!!!

This appears to be a very even litter. Two pups (1 boy + 1 girl) weighed 7 oz. and the bigger girl weighed 7.5 oz. Needless to say these were BIG puppies for pugs. My vet told me based on the size of Alice's pelvis she would not have been able to deliver the larger girl and most likely the whole litter. So glad I opted for the planned section.

My precious Momma Alice is being a champ. Interested in her puppies but still groggy. If I lay her on her side she is very tolerant and allows them to nurse as long as they like. Alice will be spoiled...she deserves it.

I apologize for not having section pictures. I forgot my camera in the fury. But...here are the new babies.

Blue collar = the male, Todd
Lips collar = larger girl, Eleanor
Circles collar = other girl, Gloria

Aww, they are SO cute! We're sending our congratulations to you and Alice. Here's hoping for a quick recovery for Alice and that the pups grow up strong and healthy. So..do you know which one your keeping yet or are you going to wait until they are older. I think you should just keep them all ;).

Beautiful little puglets!!! OMG, I LOVE their faces! This was a great thread to start the day with. I can't get over how big they are. They're only a few ounces smaller than Redyre's puppies, and Alice is probably 1/10th the size of Penny.
