I don't think I'll ever get an overload of these pups. It will be lonely hear once they do go to their new homes.

WAHHOOOOOOO!!!!! Rottie babies!!!!!!

They're very pretty - that standing milkbar photo is HILARIOUS... methings you'll have to watch that Betty... she may be suseptible to the Drink later on in life... ;)

Milton looks a bit like momma in the face - I think it's the width of muzzle. Who are your current "picks" of the litter?

Right now there are several puppies that look REALLY good. Milton has been catching my eye the last 2 days. Bruce and Jim are also both VERY nice, with good rears, short bodies, and beautiful heads and bone. Betty is holding her own, also has a very nice rear, topline, headpiece and bone. Danny is GORGEOUS in type, but at this point appears not to have as much turn of stifle, nor the best topline. Toby is very nice structurally. I had been really not liking his head, but it has been changing for the better over the last week. He is a very nice puppy with heavy bone, compact body, nice topline.

I am really delighted with the fronts on these puppies, the legs are very straight from the front, and shoulders are WAY back down in the back on almost all of them. I also see very good length of upper arm right now.

It is so early and any of this can change over the next 4 weeks, but overall they appear consistent for an outcross litter, and the type and temperament looks excellent.

*wonders where Bruce is but, squishes the rest of the puppies in his absence*

Why must they grow so quickly? I just showed hubby (my rottie obsessed husband who I catch at the rottie ring when I am showing ) the pictures and he said "are those the pups that were just born?" LOL!

I bet you are having SO much fun. At what age do we have to say goodbye to this litter? I am so thrilled to see them in a few more weeks!

I really like Milton at this point!

Out of curiousity, how many of those pups are going to be pets, and how many are going to show? (it's probably too early to tell, but a general idea of which will be pets and which will show?)

I have 3 puppies that are slated to go to pet homes. Of those 3, I will have the opportunity to show 2 puppies in conformation if they turn out to be of that quality.

At this point I have the following puppies as show prospects, determinate, of course on the ending quality of the litter:

1st pick Me
2nd pick Stud dog owner
3rd pick Penny's breeder and co-owner
4th pick Male show prospect to go to Washington State.
5th pick Stud dog owner purchases a male puppy in addition to his stud fee puppy
And then I am likely going to keep the remaining puppy if it looks nice and grow it out for a while. IF the stud dog owner selects a male puppy as his pick (likely) then I will keep the pick bitch, and the other one will go as a pet to the Floriday home. If having the bitch is not an option, then if the remaining male looks like a pet, I will have ONE puppy to place after they are 8 weeks old. I have no less than five people who have expressed an interest if ANY puppy is available, so I will have a little work to do to determine where he would go.

SP, they are going home the week of October 5/6, after they turn 8 weeks old on the 2nd, except for one puppy who will be shipped from Atlanta on the 9th or 10th, and one other that will leave on the 15th. *sniff*

You will see him for sure if you frequent shows in that area, SP. He is going to a serious fancier who will show him in Breed and obedience. The new owner is in the Seattle area. His name will be Redyre BMR Weapon of Choice

Such cuteness should not be legal!! Such sweet sweet faces and love Betty's tenacity in getting her drink in the first picture. LOL

I'm waiting for some pictures of Toby. I haven't seen picture of him in a while. ;)

:D

I am excited! I'll remember the name as I do some Washington shows each year and if the new owner is a serious fancier then I am sure I can spy on this pup at the Rose City Classic in January which is a HUGE show in this area. People come from all over and seeing as Seattle isn't all that far. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!

Neener, neener, I get to see a Redyre puppy in person!:D
