I would def. go to someone, either her parents, her older brother, or the law. That is just NOT ok... and honestly, very creepy and disturbing. I watch " To Catch a Predator" alot, and its sick, but those guys are a dime a dozen & they think its perfectly fine to do what they do.

Please, for her safety, let someone know.

Ok so my little cousin Sarah is 14 (going on 15 in Sept) is like the little sister that i have never had.
She met this guy who is 20 and they are friends (that in itself makes me uncomfortable)
Anyways, this guy really likes her (big red flag) but I added him to my friend's list on Myspace becuase my cousin seems to like him as well even though and I figured that i would be more comfortable if I got to "know" him a bit better. Not more comfortable with them pursueing any sort of relationship, just friends, even though my gut tells me that these two should not even be talking, but I cannot stop them.
So over the past month this guy keeps posting bulletins about sex! and it is really concerning me.
Plus when Sarah was here about 3 weeks ago her and this guy, drew were text messaging eachother and one of his messages was basically "if im going to be with you exclusivly you need to fool around with me" thankfully she said no and he later he told her that if she wouldnt fool around with him that he would going to chose this other girl that is 20 and is obsessed with sex... I figured that would be the end of it, but the next morning they were texting eachother again! I told her my concerns and she told me that she was fine and that he would not pressure her into doing anything that she doesnt want to do.... but I remember being 14... it's not as easy as it seems!

I dont know what to do...
I want to tell her older brother because he will "talk" to drew and set him straight, but I dont want to **** my cousin off... but on the other hand I am really concerned...

That is disturbing... and very illegal here. I would tell your cousin's parents or older brother about it... the last thing you want is for your cousin to get into a dangerous situation with this guy and for no one to know.

I talked to my older brother about it and he said " if you were in that position, I would definatly want to know so that I could kill the b@$t@rd, a 20 year old has no right to be saying those things to a 14 year old!"

Personally I'd be telling the parents and if they did nothing, I'd be telling the law. I don't keep secrets for children unless it's a birthday present.

She is a CHILD and he is a grown man...that equals wrong every single time in my book.

I'd check the laws in your state at the very least...just to safeguard yourself and the person you care about.

Stuff like this is why my kids will NOT have their own cells/puters until they can pay for them with their own money. :yikes:

Yeah, I agree. Have you ever seen the "To Catch a Predator" shows on MSNBC? People chat online pretending to be 11-14 year olds, and they lure adults to their setup house to have them arrested.

No adult should be having a relationship with a 14 year old... and the things that guy is saying to your cousin are completely disgusting.
