okay so we have a beagle.. we've had her for 2 years. today we got a blond lab.. he was picked up and he's very sweet. well our beagle was recently bite by stray dogs and we had to take her to the vet because of it. she is now not very friendly to other dogs (including the lab). will she ever get over her fear of other dogs or should we just give the lab away?

It shouldn't be all that difficult to get your little Beagle used to the Lab. Just be patient and don't make a big deal out of it; let them get acclimated to each other calmly. Labs and Beagles are both friendly creatures by nature. At some point, your little Beagle will realize that she's got a new best friend who is big enough to protect her.
