Shiba puppy help!

We have an 8 week old purebred male Shiba named Yugi. We've had him for about a week and I am starting to notice something that I don't know how to stop. We take him outside to the same spot every time for potty; after he finishes, he will walk to the door and sit until we let him in. Once inside, he will play for about 5 minutes then go to the door, jumping, running in circles and stuff wanting to go outside. We will take him and only let him stay in the potty area. He usually sniffs the area, rolls around, grooms himself, or just runs back to the sliding door wanting to go back inside; a lot of the times, he will not potty. Once inside, we play then he goes to the door again and acts up. I started to ignore this act, but then he pees???? :confused:

He probably didn't give himself enough time to finish his pottying before going back inside. I would start just keep him out longer, walking him around a little more and see if that helps. Then don't play with him when you get back inside until 15 minutes or so have gone by. Puppies are pretty ADD and don't always finish what they start when they should, lol!
