So most of you know I'll be heading to Myrtle Beach on the 21st.

I'll be leaving Kona with Rob's mom for those 4 days.

Here's my question... what can I do to prepare her for this? What can I send with her to Mary's to keep her as comfortable as possible?

I know she'll miss us terribly, but she loves Rob's mom. She will be well taken care of. I just winder if there is anything I can do to make her adjust to staying with Mary easier.

Any ideas?

Old T-shirts that you've worn or blankets that you use regularly so they have your scent on them.

Does Kona have her own blanket ? If so i'd send that.

She doesn't have a blanket to herself (she mostly uses ours!) but she does have a nice cedar pillow that she sleeps on every evening.

Here is another question.

Mary has an old crate she used for Missy when she was tiny, and told me not to bring Kona's crate.

Should I bring Kona's crate anyway, since it has her own smell, her own comfort zone, and all that in it?

What about toys? Should I pack her fave toys to take as well?
